- September 2011. One month research experience at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, under the supervision of Dr. Arnau Folch, with the aim of learning and practicing the use of the parallel version of the tephra transport model FALL3D.
- March 1st 2008, February 28th 2010, post-doctoral position at INGV (National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology), department of Naples, “Osservatorio Vesuviano”, Italy, sponsored by the Italian Civil Protection with the aim of studying the ash fallout dispersion from eruptive columns at Vesuvius, through field analysis and numerical simulations.
